Opened late, but Crystal clear

Got a late start this yr due to the cold and rainy month of May. I was worried the water would be a swamp but was crystal. Her is my problem. I forgot to order new reagents from TFT, so can not test right now. We are leaving tomorrow evening for the weekend. What amount of 10% chlorine should I add till we get back Sunday evening? 18’ x 52” deep vinyl pool.

Do you have any recollection of what the CYA was last year at closing? Allow fo some dilution and breakdown, so maybe 2 FC less than shock level for your CYA.

If not, you can go up to 10 FC, which is shock level for zero CYA. FC/CYA Levels

I think the CYA was around 40 but not 100% sure. I know it was very high before I changed the liner last year. I need more reagents to test CYA along with chlorine too
