I opened my pool last weekend in 80 degree temps and now we are suppose to have 24 low on Tuesday. I plan to run the pump 24/7 and pile an old blanket on the above ground plumbing & then secure a heavy duty tarp over the top.. Any other suggestions?

I have the same problem but am not really worried. The water temp is 60 and it is only supposed to be be below freezing for a couple of hours. Daytime temps both the day before and after are above freezing. I am no expert but I doubt it will be cold enough for long enough to do any damage. But I will keep my pump running.
