One bubbler or two on sun shelf?

Hi - could use any opinions on how many bubblers to put on our sun shelf. We're early in the build process for a new 26,000 gallon gunite pool. Our builder has suggested that two bubblers may be less desirable on our sun shelf, especially if we plan to leave two loungers in there at any point. See the photos below - he's laid out the dimensions of the sun shelf and drawn in some notional loungers.

Any thoughts? Would you do one or two on this size sun shelf? Thanks for any help!

1 or 3 for the lounger reason your builder started. I might lean towards 3 with that open space on the sides of the loungers.
Thanks, this is helpful.

One more piece of information...the price quoted for one bubbler (LED) is $4225. The second and third are $3245 each. Seems crazy, I know, but that's what he's quoting.

If we go to non-LED bubblers, it will be $2600 for one, and $1100 each for the second and third.

Are you particularly into bubblers? Bubblers and deck jets are a party trick IMO. Many find little use for them once the novelty wears off. In this case the chairs being there will take away some of their aura.

It's a pool, not a fountain. If you want a fountain, put in a fountain.

Unless you're really into them. Then do 3. 😁

Pool lights are crazy expensive in general. You already have a light on the shelf, i would personally just go with unlit bubblers. The cost difference should just be some pvc and return jets (cheap). Anything the builder is adding above that is pure profit for him.

They keep the water moving and prevent debris from getting stuck on the shelf. A regular return on the shelf may do the same thing, but i don't have one so I'm not sure how they compare. i do like the water movement from the bubbler specifically.

I keep mine turned down so it barely breaks the water at my usual low pump speed and doesn't create any extra noise.
