what I had posted late last night was a dry machine. Pool still has cover on with snow and ice on top. Will probably grab a kit for FAS/DPD to convert. thanks all..... see you on the otherside.

Do not worry about SWG and sand filter... SWG doesn’t care what kind of filter you use!

I started using paint strainer bags (1 gallon size) in my skimmer basket last year. No noticeable influence on water flow, but they still catch most of the stuff before it gets to the filter. Since doing that, I hardly ever have to backwash my sand filter. I love the no-fuss attitude of a sand filter.

So.. I was poking around the Taylor website. They have PDF versions of all their instruction cards and it is designated by the doc number in the upper right of the card. Your's looks like it says "Instr. #5138". But it looks like they only show the instructions cards for the current testkits. A simple google and here it is!
