On/Off switch for my pump

Hi All,

I have a Pentair WFE-2 for my fountain. It's wired for 115VAC and on a dedicated circuit with a 20A breaker. I would like to put a smart switch in a convenient place inside the house. The pump motor is rated 1/2 (HP), 0.98 (S.F. HP), and max 8.8A (for 115VAC). The switch I consider (Leviton DZ15S) is rated for 1/2 HP 9.8A motors.

Will that switch work or do I have to go with something higher rated?

It never hurts to get a larger capacity switch, but the specs seem to indicate that switch would be OK.
