Can anyone tell me if there is any discernible difference between the Hayward Omnilogic and the Omnihub. My pool was supposed to be built with smart controls and the builder completely forgot. I ended up with an Omnihub which is more of a product for adding on mobile pump controls to existing pools. I can't find any info or reviews or anything for the Omnihub. It is almost like I am the only one who owns one. I can't even find them for sale online?

A, I haven't done a feature by feature comparison but browsing through the OmniLogic manual and the OmniHub Manual they look very similar.
It looks like the OmniHub just has the relays and not the Load Center circuit breakers and electrical distribution in the OmniLogic.
Hayward has banned much of its product line from being sold online. Polytecpools sells it over the telephone.

What type of automation are you trying to achieve?
Like already stated the omnilogic has a full load center with relays. I think the omnihub is designed to work with other hayward products to control them (heater,lights, pump, cleaners).
I think it's a "dealer only" item and as such you are not going to find much on it.

Man....that will make it harder.
I know the omnilogic does work with other brands of equipment...but not sure how much level of control other than on/off you may have. I have a hayward VS pump and I can set pump speed and see diagnostics...I don't know if it will do that with a Pentair. I am also talking about omnilogic...I may be wrong, but I think the omnihub was really designed to work with only hayward equipment. Maybe someone else will chime in if they have experience with omnihub.

Best to match the automation with the VSP. I don't think OmniLogic will control Pentair VS pumps.
You have to decide if you want to go Hayward or Pentair and if VS pump control or color light control is more important with your current equipment.

I was afraid of that. Will have to wait till next season. So I can sell some of the equipment and change over to hayward.
