I am considering the Hayward upgrade to OmniLogic for the cost savings over Intellicenter. I found documentation from 2020 that states Omnilogic can control Pentair and Jandy LED lights with release 4.2.5. Can anyone confirm this is true for both Omnilogic and the Omnilogic PL upgrade?

As of R4 Hayward implemented Unified OmniLogic Control with one firmware load for OmniLogic, OmniPL and OmniHub.
They should all have the same functionality.

I have AquaLogic currently. Much cheaper to upgrade than go with an all new automation like Intellicenter but I know I will be locked into Hayward VS pumps and don’t want clunky light control.

I currently have Pentair Intellibrite lights with AquaLogic and there is only basic light control by clicking on/off to change colors. I would prefer to not have that situation when I upgrade automation so I am trying to confirm if OmmiLogic can control Intellibrites based on the 2020 release notes.
