Old Cleaner Died - Need New Advice

The Dirt Devil robotic pool cleaner that came with the house we bought died this evening. The kids named him Wall-E.

I'm in the market for a new one fast! I read on the forum to call the place in Colorado for the best deal. I started looking online and honestly was a bit overwhelmed with all of the choices. I guess the key thing to me would be a top loading basket, so we don't have to flip it over. One that scans the pool and gets everywhere would be nice. Wifi / bluetooth would be nice, and so would controlling from your phone or a remote.

Any initial thoughts?

Where I live (northeast), pools are rare. To get a pool guy to come to your house for any reason is a minimum $125 charge. I could search around and maybe try to hire someone on Craigslist, but the supply of people looking to do that kind of work is not there.

FYI, I talked to Margaret at Marina. Her prices were soooo much better than my local stores. 1/2 price in some cases. I ordered an M600 30 min ago and it already shipped.

I think most people here take care of their own pools. I enjoy it. Not that much work if you stay on top of it.
