We added some pool putty along some cracks in our pool. To match the color we added color that we use on stone putty for travertine. Now there is an oily substance on the top of our water and caught in our skimmer socks. It has an odor as well. We really have not used the pool much yet this season so it is not from sunscreen. I plan on removing the putty soon and we hope this resolves our (self created ) issue. Has anyone experienced anything similar?
