OCLT good…but algae still in pool

Measured FC again. 3 times. Final is 26.5ppm.

The bowls are on a simple circuit; floor drains in pool, pump, bowls. So When the bowls do not flow, the water level drops as the water backflows to the pump. Maybe an inch sits in the bowls.

Ive been running them full time for the SLAM until today.
Typically they run for 2 hours in the AM and 2 in the afternoon.

Elaborating on the fountain circuit.

That pump also feeds these fountains. I can shut of all flow to the bowls and direct it to these and one return in the pool. The fountains shown would grow in water column height, but no water would go to the bowls.

If it turns out to be the bowls causing the algae, id much rather never run them (valves closed). They are loud and the 2nd pump running 12hrs a day would be less than ideal.

pump back on…fc in 30min. Raining. Rained a lot overnight….

If the bowls are algae factories, does this mean that the spa overflow has to run full time during sunlight?
No. Run the spa overflow for 20 minutes twice a day in the morning and early afternoon to keep it chlorinated.
