OK experts...I am on day 16 of a TFP sparkling pool. I have not had any issues so to speak. We have been dumped on rain wise the last few days...just shy of 7" in the last 6 days. and more expected as we are in to rainy season in Florida. I have been watching numbers and draining pool level.

I'm seeking advice on my TA.

6/4 was 75
6/9 was 70
today it's 60

My PH has been moving slightly.

6/4 was 7.4
6/7 was 7.7
6/8 was 7.8 I added MA to lower to 7.3
6/9 was 7.3
It stayed at 7.3 until today it is at 7.6

I have a screened lanai over the pool but am assuming PH is rising due to rainfall on pool.

I'm thinking I should just wait out my TA and see where it goes in the next day or 2. I don't want to get in habit of moving numbers to move numbers. This is the 1st time I've really had movement on TA since I finished my slam on 5/28

Today's Full test
Fc 10 added CL last night to pre-empt more rain today.
CC 0
PH 7.6
TA 60
CYA 60 as of last test on weekend
CSI by pool math is -.21

Thoughts??

Thanks

Ed

Your TA moves a bit when you add MA to lower pH. Play around with PoolMath and see how changes you make or don't make change your CSI.

Currently I wouldn't do much but keep doing what you're doing. The TA at 60 will help keep your pH down or at least rise slower.

You're doing fine! Giving you a Dave Ramsey shout out- Woohoo! You are Free of Pool Stores!!!!!

Woohoo is right!...and thanks. I think I'll just let it ride and see what our daily rain does. another 2" and i'll be draining again anyway. Since I'm so new at this I guess just seeing my numbers start to move a bit got me a little nervous...

You have to remember, I'm used to the GREEN-NO GREEN-GREEN AGAIN pool store routine...I need to get over that!

Woohoo!
