Not sure if I am finished with a slam.

So my cover came off my above ground pool through winter due to high winds. Instead of fighting it I just left it. I opened the pool and filled it the rest of the way up then started slamming. I have 30CYA so I am doing 12 ppm. Occasionally adjusting ph down to 7 as it rises. I've got it to the point that it loses less than 1 ppm overnight and theres no CC in that sample. The only problem is I get CC during the day. Moreso when I tried to drop back down to normal chlorine. I dont remember getting CC with no pool use last year. I've been slamming for 2 or 3 weeks now. The demand has dropped quite a bit but it's still about a gallon of 12.5% a day for my 10k gal pool.

Thanks in advance.

The CC reading can fluctuate and is not by itself an indicator of an algae bloom. Just means your free chlorine has eliminated some junk and it's waiting on the sun to process it. I would say if your water is 100% crystal clear, you pass the OCLT, and the CC reading right after the morning OCLT FC test is at .5 or less, you are done. :swim:
