Non chlorine shock

I am using the non chlorine shock to throw the cc over into the right range. Which is working.
What is best to select in the pool app for doing that? The Cal hup 48% option?? Or is this interfering in the suggestion plan of maintaining? Thank you

Cal Hypo is not chlorine-free. Are you using KMPS (aka MPS, aka Potassium Monopersulfate)?

If so, Pool Math does not include a way to track it, although you can record your additions using PoolMath's "Add a Note" feature. Also, KMPS will interfere with your chlorine test results unless you use Taylor's KMPS interference remover. Also, remember that it will not sanitize your pool; you still need chlorine for that.

Non-chlorine shock is not recommended. It make the CC go in the wrong direction. (Up instead of down)
