No Internet on Pentair system?

The new IntelliFlo3 does not come with a cable. You don't need a special cable for it. All you need is a two conductor cable as both ends are connected using screw terminals. I used the existing cable I had for my failed IntelliFlo pump for my new IntelliFlo3 pump simply by cutting off the plug and stripping the insulation to reveal the two wires; one green and one yellow; which corresponded to the colors in the control panel. I installed the stripped wires into the appropriate places on the new pump as per the installation manual and voila. I did have to set up the IntelliFlo stuff in my panel for the new pump. The new pump can set and display in gallons per minute; unlike my old pump that could only set and display in revolutions per minute.

My problem is that I can't get Wi-Fi to work. It keeps disconnecting and reconnecting to my network. I don't need it though since I have a control panel (Easy Touch).

This is a relatively new pump so we're still learning about it here. I assume the magenta connect LED is lit. That could prevent WiFi from working as it's under external automation control? The older Intelliflo pumps locked out access with the control panel displaying "Display not active!" when in that mode.

A member below has the opposite problem, they have WiFI access but can't get it to connect to automation. Makes me wonder if the pump can only be in one mode at a time. The documentation is less than clear.

Based on this post have you tried putting your EasyTouch into service mode?

Automation friendly: As expected, with a 4 wire hookup (not included) this hooks up to Pentair automation which overrides the unit controls. If you put the Pentair automation in service mode, the on-board pump logic/programming will take over again.

The WiFi on the Intelliflo3 continues to work even if the pump is hooked to automation. It continues to report status, errors etc. to the Pentair Home app (cloud) even though you can't actually control the pump with respect to programs/speed etc. I received a few emails yesterday that stated the pump had lost connection to WiFi even though I have a decent signal. One of them was when I had a power blink but the other was unexpected.
If you go to the device screen in the Pentair Home app, then click the settings wheel in the top right, Then click "wifi" under device settings, it will display information about your connectivity, you will see a text representation of the signal as "good" "fair" "poor" etc as well as an RSSI numerical 'score'. If you sit on that screen for a while it will update in real time to show fluctuations in your wifi connectivity. The RSSI number is actually negative and the lower the number the worse your connection. Ideally you want to be in the -50 to -60 range, below that will still work but you could start to see intermittent issues in the -70+ range. You may need to adjust the location of your wifi, get a better wifi router, adjust the antenna on the pump, add an additional access point etc. Let us know what your signal strength and RSSI are reporting.
