I have an older Hayward Aqua plus system. A few months ago, I was getting a “no cell power 2 message. I replaced the main control panel PCB. After that, I instantly got a “no cell power 1 message. I have replaced the transformer, rectifiers, wires and fuses, and a new T-15 salt cell. I am still getting no cell power 1 message. Any ideas what could be wrong?

This is a common issue and is usually the K1 relay on the main board. The solder joints on the back side loosen up and sometimes need to be refloated.

Sorry I missed that you had replaced the board.

So you basically have replaced everything except for the display?

Do you have a volt meter?

Measure AC voltage across the yellow leads from the transformer.

I also replaced the display. The board had other issues like, not keeping correct time and dates and not keeping set timers for pump. Pump was coming on at random times. After board replacement, everything started working correctly except cell power. Display reads 0.00V, 0.00a, 79 degrees F, and 0000PPM.

When the old board stopped working the salt reading on display was stuck at 3400ppm. When I installed new board, the salt on display dropped to 2800ppm. It has not moved. I added a some salt to pool, but display still shows 2800ppm.

That is a clone PCB and not a genuine Hayward board.

You should return it as defective and consider getting a genuine Hayward PCB or upgrading to an OmniPL system.
