No cell current and no instant salt

Hi,

Brand new pool and equipment. But Hayward Omnilogic shows no cell current and no instant salt.


Water was crystal clear last week, now it’s a little cloudy at the deep end. Took water to Leslie. It has no chlorine. Is there something wrong with the chlorinator???


pump and chlorinator run every day from 9-5.

Looks like the chlorinator is set to OFF in the OmniPL.

What does the outdoor display show for chlorinator status?

You really should get a good test kit of your own. We recommend the Taylor K-2006C or TFT Test Kits

last night I used the cheap Amazon test strips which also showed low chlorine.

Apps seem to often lie. The connected outdoor display may be different.

Put the cell on Super Chlorinate and then check the diagnostics.

At 70% Production, the cell will be off 30% of the time.
