For the first time, I looked into the niche light in the pool. Attached are the photos of what I found. Looks like an anthony model 30 and says "use with model 21 or 19LA fxiture housing"

I'm not sure the previous owners did any maintenance on this and I wan to know what I should do?
It looks like the black rubber gasket is disintegrating as it got me full of black paint on my hands. And some of it came off looking a lot like black algae.
The light is flourescent, and drawing a lot of wattage. I'd like to replace with an LED if possible.
The housing and electrical cord look a bit outdated and worn, but I am guessing that is not an easy fix and may require draining the pool.
Finally, it took me a long time, as in greater than an hour to remove and put back the light in the niche. The problems seems like the screw won't catch the hole. Maybe someone put in a screw that is too small? It looks like 3 inch scre or less. Another possibility is that the metal run around the fixture has expanded and its not letting me put the fixture deep enough in the niche for the screw to grab on. I tried hammering it in with the back of a screw driver but it wouldn't budge much. I also tried moving the electrical wire in case it was stopping the fixture from going in correctly, but I don't think that was an issue. I was working from the pool edge, so maybe I'd have better luck if I was in the pool. I will try that next.
Just looking to order whatever parts I need to keep this thing running for another 15 years.

I see @kadavis had recommended something like Mac Manufacturing #02 Light Adapter Ring for Anthony or Purex Stainless Steel Niche in the past. I am not sure what that is or what I can do with it.

And I also see some recommendation for:

Looks similar to what I have, but I am not really sure its the same one. Maybe I can order it on amazon and return it if it doesn't work?

Or maybe I should call some pool techs to see if anyone knows to do for this as this job might be out of my league.
