Im a novice at this so bear with me please. I just hard piped my intex pool and cant seem to get a good connection with the skimmer sharing the same nozzel with the hard piping and will run intonthis issue as well with the vaccum hose. any suggestions how to fix this issue?

I see two suction intakes in the middle depth of your pool. I don't see a skimmer.

Welcome. I would be suspicious of that black t-fitting you have with the band clamps. Not sure of it's purpose, but those are opportunities for suction air leaks.
