Howdy! My wife and I just installed an above ground pool. We have never owned a pool. We did this for our grandchildren! We have a Hot Tub and it uses a system called Frog water care. Pretty simple to maintain. I have no idea how to balance a pool thus me joining. I ordered a skimmer and chlorine tab float. We just finished filling the pool 16X10X42. It fits perfectly under our pergola next to our tub. Looking forward to seeing the enjoyment on the kids faces!

Welcome. We do not promote using the Frog though maybe it's okay on a hot tub. Read through the Pool School to find the methods recommended for keeping a pool swimmable.
