Hello folks. Grew up with a 15x30 pool in our backyard. Pool last 27 years! I have never really wanted my own pool though. My wife has always wanted a pool. I remember how much work my pop put into his pool that I told my wife I have very little time to take care of a pool. But with all this Crud going on and getting our vacation cancelled I decided our four kids would enjoy a pool. So we purchased our first pool Mother’s Day. Picked it up this past Tuesday and having it installed July 9th hopefully. I’ve been hearing a lot of folks getting shifted with installers not showing up. Anyhow I purchased a Omega saltwater system with the pool as well. Our oldest son who is 6 has eczema real bad. So I requested a saltwater system it was not pushed on us. I was told the pool was saltwater safe but finding out now the manufacturer does not recommend saltwater use with our pool. It’s a hybrid pool steel wall everything else is resin. So now looking at either adding anodes or going with a mineral system instead. I remember hating the chorine feeling getting out of my pops pool. So I’ll be poking around the forum looking for info and how I could enjoy this pool the best I can...
