Hi, we've had an 24 foot above ground pool in New England for close to 30 years. Every year we open and follow the pool store directions and boom the metals flash and the pool is a quagmire. I'm trying to by pass them this year because I feel like I was wasting lots of money for inadequate results. I'm in the middle of SLAMing the pool right now. I'll let you know how it works. In time you might need some advice on your pool care. Please fill out your signature, with more details on your pool, i.e. pump, filtration and how you chlorinate. In addition which test kit do you have? The Taylor K-2006C and TF100 from tftestkits.net are the only recommended kits.
