Newbie here,
Bought a house last fall with an in-ground, vinyl 22,000 gallon pool. I'm finding the learning curve a bit steep but this site WONDERFUL. I've been depending on the local pool "professionals" so far and they are arrogant! Water is very clear and I've had no trouble maintaining chlorine with trichlor pucks and weekly/biweekly shock. This week bought the TF 100 test kit and am finding my PH too high. Today's task, buy muriatic acid at the hardware store and use the pool math app.
