Newbie, new(ish) pool, grout dissolving. Scared

I cant read the label on the buckets. You know exactly what glue/grout product was used?

Price alone should prevent a tile contractor from using grout in lieu of thinset. I can also say that is not the contractors first tile job....his work is planned, neat, and clean.

Here is a video of how it was installed with almost the exact same product. This is the product. I am told everyone uses this- boy I see a $25,000 new tile job in my future and I don't even know what was done wrong. Bexel: Productos

Bexel product is a Latex based product that should work ok, but the best is Epoxy based products like Laticret. The buckets are paint buckets and not related to the product being applied.
