We recently purchased a house with a 16' x 32' Grecian/Grecian (8' hopper). The pool wasn't maintained well and had several leaks around the stairs, cracks in the skimmer, and leaks in both the suction and return lines. Though we hobbled through July/August, the liner needs replacing and there are moderate cracks in the wall panels around the returns and light niche due to soil settling. So we're getting ready to cut the concrete deck, install a new skimmer, repair the panel damage, and run new plumbing to a relocated pool pad. Looking forward to opinions and feedback in the forums about out project!

That will be a project!
It will be! Cutting my pipe trench lines in the concrete deck next Wednesday. Here's a few pics of the wall damage. I'm thinking of installing some stainless steel plates on the backside of the wall for backing, then hammering the damage back into place on the front and sealing with cement mix or some kind of caulk. Then drilling the suction/return holes into the stainless plate and installing new fittings and connect the new pipes.
