Hi, we are (finally!) getting our pool plastered and filled this week and I have a question about our wet edge signature matrix and the brushing recommended. The Wet Edge start up guide says to brush once a week with a combo brush and I was wondering if anyone with wet edge has done this. If so, what combo brush do you recommend?

Yes, you should brush at least once a week of not more often.
While Wet Edge says use a combo brush I think a Polyester bristle brush is equally good as a combo brush.
It is more important to brush regularly then the specific type of brush you use.
