New Vinyl liner question

I'm getting quotes to get my vinyl liner replaced. I have a quote for 20mil liner and a quote for 28mil liner. Is the price difference for the 28mil liner worth it and whats the biggest difference between the two. Does 28mil last longer or is it more durable over the 20mil? Thanks

the 28mil is harder to install and will be harder to puncture... If someone else is installing then the 28 mil is the way to go..

Both will fade the same and both should be the same as far as being durable...
