I’m not yet a pool owner, we are in contract to start installation next spring for a 14x28’ vinyl liner pool. I have some questions about pool location in our yard. My husband wants to place the pool at the bottom of the hill in our yard, and our pool guy is saying it’s a good idea, but I’m worried about water runoff and mud when it rains. Can anyone give me any insight on this? Or direct me where to go?

You do need to be careful about potential water around the base of the pool. Some areas with a high water table go as far as installing French Drains and/or a sump pump to collect and channel water away as needed.
