@B925moore, first thing you'll need to do is lower that CYA. Salt pools do better with a CYA in the 70-80 range, but over 100 and it's not very manageable. The only way to lower CYA is to exchange some water. I would do that before adjusting any other levels.

You should also update your signature with all of your pool and equipment info. be sure to lost which test kit you are using and if you are on a well. See my signature as an example.

Since your CYA is over 100, consider doing a "diluted CYA test" as noted in the link below starting at Step #8.

Just tested pool
If your CYA is reading at 100 on the dot test, it could actually be higher.

I'd recommend repeating the test, but instead of starting with just pool water, mix 50/50 pool water with tap water. Then use that water to re-do the test. Multiply the result by 2 and you should have a better idea of your CYA.

If the diluted test comes up to about 50 then you'll know 100 is right. It will matter to know how much pool water should be exchanged to reach the level you're looking to reach.
