New to pools

The builder I work for has just started doing pools so I am looking to learn as much as I can about pools, pool building, maintenance etc.
I live in Palm Coast, Fl with is right about Daytona Beach. From what I have read so far where you have your pool changes the maintenance and other things.

Any advice on where to start would be a great help.
