Hi, I am Tom, glad to find this forum. I have a 18x36 grecian shaped pool that was old and poorly maintained when I bought the house 8 years ago. We just ripped out the decking, fence, liner, plumbing, filtration and electric and are replacing it all.
Big challenge I have right now (aside from the $$$) is that I have been told our 5' plexiglass stairs are an odd size, can't be found anywhere and since our liner was already ordered, our only replacement option is to retrofit a 6' stair at a cost of nearly $10k.
I am looking at other options besides painting and heard about EcoFINISH Polyfibro which is supposed to last 10 years, but am struggling to find an installer.
Hopefully when it is all over I will have a pool I can maintain properly and enjoy for years. attached are a before photo and some current state mid-renovation pix.
