Ok. I have the TF 100 and k 1766 ordered, just waiting on them to arrive. I will wait till the kits arrive before I add salt and install the SWG.
thanks for all the information

This is also a good time to figure out the pool capacity. By putting x amount of salt in and retesting will give you a near perfect dilution rate per x gallons. Works for me all the time. From experience:... once you measure and calculate how much salt you need to add to your pool... only had half (or 3/4 if you're brave) the amount and let it dissolve. Then remeasure and do it again. That will allow you the fine tune your salinity and not overshoot the mark. Especially for those of us that have at best a rough estimate of our pool's volume. And you will be able to compare the reading on your SWG with the test kit along the way.
Nice clean install BTW.
Mark,
I was just admiring your photo of the wall mounted swg controller, power center, and the added timer. Not sure if you're finished or not but I can't see any bonding wire. Would be a good idea to add it to each component and tie it to the other equipment bonding.

He did a good job, hope mine looks that neat!

I didn't realize how much 13 backs of salt was until I added 3-40 pd bags last night. I am adding it slowly since I have time
I should just put this in my sig I say it so often. ... When I retrofitted my pool with an SWG I knew the water would feel better and be less irritating for my daughters skin... I knew I wouldn't have to add Chlorine by hand anymore (at least during the summer) and I knew a bunch of other cool things about running an SWG pool. What I wasn't prepared for was the amount of time I saved doing pool maintenance. Since the chlorine is added slowly over time it makes all the other chem levels more stable. The time I saved on monitoring chemicals at fighting with trying to keep things stable is what really justified getting one. My time is money.. and by that calc it paid for itself in the first season.Mark,
If you're like most people it'll be well worth it! We love our salt pool and my wife said we'll never change to a regular pool first time she was in it.
