Just wanted to show people what is available as far as skimmers go. This is a new one, has a remote, and a little less expensive than the Solar Breeze but not compatible with salt water pools unfortunately.

Hmmmm....I wonder what makes it incompatible with salt water pools because .... all pools are saltwater pools. All chlorine based chemicals (bleach and acid) will add chloride to the swimming pool. Most pools in the south and west that experience hot and dry weather will rarely get enough rain to dilute the chloride away and so many pools will easily have upwards of 2000ppm salt in them. Even pools in rainy climates will have salinity greater than 500ppm. So it makes me wonder why their design fails in a “salt water pool” as opposed to a manually chlorinated pool.

The reviews seem about 90% positive. Will wait and see after maybe a year on the market how the consumers rate it.
