Well, I just pulled the trigger on a Dolphin S300i. Local dealer wanted $1,493 (plus tax, of course), and Marina Pool, Spa, and Patio was only $949 with free shipping. I thought that was crazy not to do it. Poolpartz has the Active 30i on refurb for $899 without the caddy, and by getting it from Marina Pool, Spa, and Patio I still get the 2-year warranty (and I think the current $125 Mail-in Rebate as well), so looking forward to easier pool maintenance. Same here. We ordered yesterday, probably around the same time as you. Local dealer quote was $1299 with caddy (but no stock available). Without caddy was available for $50 less. I was impressed that Marina shipped the same day. For us, shipping is only 2 days. So, should be here tomorrow.
From my research, I liked the Triton plus. But, I read too many reviews about tangled cords - not something I want to deal with. So, I was leaning toward the Nautilus CC Plus - mainly to get a swivel cord. Then, from this forum, I learned that the S300i added a swivel cord on the 2018 model. And, I also discovered the great price from Marina. Sold!
Cool, just make sure someone is available to sign for it. My package was sent with a direct signature requested, meaning I can't just leave a note.
