New R-0004 seems much more potent, hard to read

Hi, I recently got a replacement R-0004 from Amazon (see photos). Adding even 2 drops from this new solution makes the color in the comparator way darker than my previous bottle (from TF Test Kits), it also seems to be reading much higher than I expect. Is it possible that my previous bottle was expired and giving me lower-than-accurate readings? Is it possible that this new bottle is bad in some way? Unfortunately I don’t have the previous bottle any longer, but when I swapped bottles I compared labels and they seemed identical.

Hopefully the inconsistency in the photos doesn’t throw you off too bad.

Maybe I’m just crazy and my PH has suddenly gone crazy, but it definitely feels like this solution is acting odd.

Your test kit - TF-Pro Salt - uses R-0014, not R-0004 for testing pH.
The two are NOT interchangable.
