Hey Y'all, maybe I'm insane, but I don't want to pay someone to wire up my pump if I don't have to. I have the power off, old pump disconnected and the new pump here. It is a Lanchez and has instructions regarding connecting it up with 2 wires. When I disconnected the old pump, there were three. There is a Red, Blue, Green. I know the Green is ground, but trying to figure out which or both of the other two I need to connect and which post. The instructions only say Ground wire connects to Ground Terminal. Hot wires connect to terminal 1 or 3, either hot wire is compatible with terminal 1 or 3. I can connect the ground, but then do I connect red or blue and cap the other? Connect both?

Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance!

Is your electrical circuit and CB 115V or 230V?

What voltage is the pump set to?

Assuming you’re 240v….be sure…

1 hot wire (red) on terminal 1
The other hot wire (blue) on terminal 3.
Make sure motor switch is set for 230 as indicated in the instructions.
Green ground wire on ground. Startup and make sure rotation is correct.
