New pump clicking noise

Any ideas what this clicking/crackling noise could be? 3 hp Circupool VSP. Pump is new and only been up and running for about a week or two. Sounds like angry crickets or incredibly fast Morse code. Louder at low RPM but present at all speeds. Certain it’s the motor end and I have no suction side leaks. Thanks!

Something stuck in the fan at the rear of the motor?
 
Thanks guys. Noise comes and goes. If I shut the pump off for a couple hours then restart it there's no noise. I've only noticed it when I walk outside but it's pretty darn loud. Tapping on the back of the fan cover with my hand makes it stop for a second then it will resume. I'll try to get a video.

Sounds like a loose/missing screw on the fan shroud allowing it to contact the fan itself.
