Hey everyone, we just got a new pump and filter housing today since we're getting pavers installed in our patio and I need to remove the old noisy pump and 20 year old filter, might as well replace them.
Anyway I have the pump temporarily plumbed so I can cut the pipes when the paver work their way to that side of the yard this week.
What is the correct way to seal the threaded male fittings to the pump? I've seen people debate whether Teflon tape is the way to go. Anyway, I used Teflon tape since this is a temporary install and now I'm seeing lots of bubbles coming out of one jet.
Any ideas? Thanks.
