Pool has been started a week back. The filter pressure reads at 25 psi. Is it normal to be that high ? Appreciate your help!

What speed is your pump running? Filter PSI is proportional to pump RPM and flow.

What was the filter PSI when the pool was started and the filter was cleaned?

Filter PSI raises as the filter gets dirty. You may have palster dust collected on the filter.

You should clean the filter when the PSI rises 25% from the clean filter pressure.

I’m not sure what is the pressure when it was started. The pump is running on 2900rpm and 29 flow rate, constantly running 24/7. Filter has not been cleaned up so far. The start up is done by ABC.

I would clean the filter and reduce the RPM to around 2200 rpm.

Reducing the rpms alone will decrease the filter pressure.
