New pool owner

Hello,

I thought I’d introduce myself. We are new to pool ownership. We finished our project last year just in time to close it.

Doughboy 18x38. We set it partially in the ground, leaving 27” out of the ground in the house side. Makes it nice to only have two steps to the pool.

It made 72-73 degrees water temp last weekend. I got in. Wife and daughter wouldn’t. It’s been cold since. Water is in low 60s or colder now. No thanks.

I hear ya.... I like 85 degree water myself. We got in at 80 degrees and it was a bit jarring until one's entire body was in and used to it. Looking forward to some warmer weather.
