Thanks @JamesW . I enabled it and observed the following readings. The chlorinator was set to 3% for spa and then 50% for pool. I bumped it to 100%. What should it be?
Also after a while I get a check system status and the following errors. What do I do from here?
Chlorinator off - test salt level.
Instant Salt - Chlorinator off
Check Susyem - very low salt

many thanks!

Most likely, you just need to add enough salt to get to about 3,200 ppm.

Verify the salinity with a salt test kit and then add enough salt to get to about 3,200 ppm.

Use PoolMath to calculate the correct amount of salt to add. Change the pool volume to match your volume. Input the correct current salt level in the Now box and the desired level in the Target box.

Add about 75% of the recommended amount of salt so that you don't overshoot. Brush the pool several times while allowing the pump to run for 24 hours and then retest the salinity and readjust.

Set the percentage to 0 while the salt is being added.

Note: If you're going to use the heater and keep the pool warm, only go to about 2,800 ppm salt.

The system shuts down if the amperage gets to 8.0.

When the heat is on and the water is warm, the amps can go above 8.0 easily and you have to keep the salinity down some to avoid a high amp shutdown.

There’s no way your water has 0 calcium. Our water out here has a lot of calcium. What company did you have give you a quote?
I had Crystal Blue Pools Out, they were one of a few contractors that I reached out to to get some details/information. I am still waiting for the quote, its been a few days since they have been out. I called your recommended company as well (thank you!), I left a message and hope to have them out here soon!

before we decided to go the owner build route with subs I had a lot of local companies come out for bids. I was very impressed with Gardner pools, melo pools (but may as well use the number I gave you as he is their sub), and we had Gattuso pools redo all of our pool plumbing and they were fantastic, but Gattuso is very expensive! I hope the guy I gave you gives you a call back he does amazing work!
