Hi all

Recently bought a house with a pool (40,000L with a SWG) - no previous experience with pools. The pool shop guy said I should dump a cannister of chlorine in ("which should see you through the summer"). I did that and then found TFP, bought myself a decent testing kit and got things fairly well balanced, but it is still very chlorine-y. I'm reading that I just have to wait for the chlorine to reduce, but keen for any tips or observations on that, or anything else that seems obvious to you guys.

Cheers, Haydo

Always round up to the next 10 for your CYA. Your CYA is 60.

FC level up to (CYA / 10) *4…in your case 24 is safe for people and pool. Monitor and daily UV will lower FC.
