New Pool Owner - Need Help Buying a Test Kit

Hello all you seasoned pool owners. I now own my first pool. Its more like a puddle at 9000 gallons. The pool is a a salt water pool with a gunite finish and hayward aquarite 900 salt chlorine generator. Can I get your recommendations on test kits. I would like to venture out and take care of it on my own.

Matt, congrats on the new pool. And also congrats on the desire to run the pool yourself and test it. That is the basis for TFP = owner testing

I would recommend the TF-100 or the TF-100 Pro Salt. If you get just the TF-100, also get the Taylor 1766 Salt test kit. THis kit is preferred as its cheaper than the other kit we recommend and it has the most reagents. It ought to last almost 2 years assuming no algae in the pool to require more testing. Refills go on sale once or twice a year usually.
