New Pool Owner from Dallas, TX, Need Advice on FC Levels

I've been monitoring my Pool's Chlorine levels, mainly my Free Chlorine, and have noticed that with the Summer season starting to kick in.....my FC levels has been dissapating quickly everyday. My CYA is at 39 and I will add liquid chlorine until it reaches 7.0 in the evening. By the time I test it again the following evening (after a day of full sunshine), I've noticed that my FC level is back down to 1.0.

Is there something that I'm missing here? Or is this to be expected with the sunshine in Texas. I'm sure its the same as the weather in Florida etc. and everywhere down south.

Any help would be appreciated.

Do a Overnight Chlorine Loss Test. See if you have anything in the water consuming the chlorine.

Thank you for the advice, I will measure the FC level before going to bed and then first thing in the morning. To be safe, I added enough Chlorine to meet the SLAM levels specified by TFP based on my CYA levels.
