This is a new 2900 gall, pool set up. Salt and CYA were added yesterday, so the SWG is not operating yet. I am using 10% bleach for chlorine.
Today's numbers:
2000 Salt
6.8 - 7.2 PH
0 Chlorine
50 Cal Hard
40 TA
50 CYA
I have downloaded the pool math app and I can't get it to work. It's so frustrating!!! I used the old pool math calculator to see what I needed to add.
11 oz of 10% bleach to get to 3 pmm because right now it's 0 (pool is clear, water is new)
24 lbs salt to get it to 3000
3.9 oz CYA to get to 60
14 oz baking soda to raise TA to 60
4.9 oz borax to raise PH to 7.5

Does all this sound about right or do I need adjustments?

Bring the TA up to 50-60 using baking soda (TA might take a couple hours) and THEN raise your pH to around 7.4 using 20 Mule Team Borax.

The others you can do anytime.

What seems to be the issue with app? Like what’s it not doing? What phone?
It asks me to set my pool up. I do, and I can't get past that page. It tells me to put in my zip code, which I had done, and I'm stuck there. I deleted the app, reinstalled it and it did the exact same thing. I have deleted it again.
I have an iPhone 14.

After entering zip, did you turn on log weather conditions, then press the check mark in the upper right?
Once you do that, the "Weather" part should show "ZIP / Postal: #####", where "#####" is your zip code. Then make sure to fill in the rest of the info, including what all you want to track then press the check mark in the top right again to actually save the pool.

I never could get it to save my pool info.

Turn off weather and try again.

Naming...many have more than one pool. I have three pools Home, Test (for helping here) and Fill water (so I know the chemistry of my fill water).
