Vacuum to waste is using your manual vacuum but instead of the water going through the filter you change the multi-port valve to waste. Take some pictures of your filter if you need more help.
Oh ok! I gotcha. So I do that after letting it settle? What speed should be pump run while doing that? Won’t that cause significant water loss?Vacuum to waste is using your manual vacuum but instead of the water going through the filter you change the multi-port valve to waste. Yup. You can also cheat by brushing what settles to a general area. (A few quick swipes with the brush). Give it some time and let it settle again. After a few tries it will all mostly be in one spot for quick vac-ing out to waste. So I do that after letting it settle?
Yes. So if you can minimize the vac area it greatly helps. If it’s just the step you’ll be done quick enough time wise. (Go slowly with the vac to keep poofs to a minimum).Won’t that cause significant water loss?
Your regular vac speed. Every setup had its own sweet spot. To many RPMs and the head sticks. Too little and it doesn’t suck. You have to play with it a bit to find yours. What speed should be pump run while doing that
