New pool, Manor, Texas

AmyJo,
Being IN the pool is wonderful! I am on crunch time at work trying to get schedules ready for the new year, but I have managed to get in each morning and evening and enjoy the pool. My husband has also been enjoying it. We sweep it and swim laps and float and enjoy the water features. Friday night I just floated while gazing at the stars. It's great to have a pool right in our backyard. We spend a lot of time just looking at it, too., admiring its geometric lines and simple beauty. Lol!
We are getting our patio furniture assembled. We've had half of our garage full of things for our new deck.
Yesterday we assembled the table and chairs and the second chaise lounge. We also got our fire pit out on the deck area. I'm hoping to get the conversation set assembled today.

Janny I can hear your happiness in your post "just floated while gazing at the stars". I can just feel the weight lifting off your shoulders.

How is the water looking? Is the tint changing at all?

THANKS from a teacher for making sure schedules are being taken care of! Our assistant Principal does that for us at my school. Funny how every school does things different.

Janny, I can't imagine having to work on top of starting up your new pool! Along with others on this site, I know what back-to-school is like for teachers and counselors! It is sheer MADNESS!!! I don't envy you at all. I know you'll be fine, but you have my sympathy.

I brush from inside the pool. That seems to be working well. I can't balance and manage the long pole from the deck. Doing it while in the pool is actually fun. I can't get the deep end very well, so my son does that part. We aren't as on top of the brushing as some people are on here. I know we aren't the best, but I doubt we're the worst. My motto is to do the best I can.

I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your water color!!! It looks cold which I love!

Good luck with those schedules. They're such a headache and yet so critical!!!!
Suz.

I'm posting this against my better judgement. Ha.
Our sprinkler guy and landscapers are coming Saturday to repair/replace sprinklers, lay sod and make a few flour beds.
We still need to seal or stain the pergolas.
My sister wants us to beautify the fence. Haha. Maybe next year.
