New Pool Install

I would be concerned about the weight of the water pulling down not allowing the wall to pop back into the slot. Also it could crease it at those spots.

If it were me I'd stop and get in the pool and try to push it back in. Before there's too much weight on it.

How deep is that water now? Is it cold there?

Beautiful morning view... I texted the neighbor to see if I could buy hose water ($100). She never responded so I'm gonna take that as a no. Lol

Just got in n popped that wall back in. Its perfect now. I dont think i can get the other one. I tried. It's up to my knees. Weather isn't cold. Little over cast today. Liner is nicely set the whole way around n I think I'll let it go through the night tonight.

So yesterday the Old Man was burning. Apparently, he threw a trash bag full of trash on the fire. It also had empty rustoleum cans in it. It sounded like bombs going off! I ran outside thinking something terrible happened n all I see it the front of the garage GLOWING n him n the neighbor hoot n hollerin! I have rustoleum spray on my brand new pool now! I ain't even going to flip over it although I was bummed when I saw it this morning! I'm sure my Dad is up there saying... SEE YOU CANT HAVING ANYTHING NICE!

The leg will be easy enough to lightly sand the high spots and match the other white posts. Or there is always my go-to...... plant a bush.

what color does the tan liner give to the water! Im intrigued! We didn't have a liner choice.. it was the last 33' at the end of last year and i couldn't complain about the clearance price!
The water color will be like this. This is another member's pool. Same exact liner.

Battle Scars, wear them proud!
Believe me, I do! On myself and the pool! I'm pretty sore today after moving excess sand I removed from the bottom of the pool before I added the insulation board. I was just shoveling it outside the pool. Ugh...

When I get out of prison today, I'll be adding my return and skimmer box and finishing up on aisle sand dune!

This morning's 0330 courtesy pic is brought to you by Nebo Flashlights. Best flashlights ever made!

I’ve been planning for my “real pool” and have been intrigued by the tan liners but afraid the water would look brown. You are officially changing my mind. Can’t wait to see more piccys!!!! Happy Memorial Day, y’all!

Well... dont look right now because it's looking like it's got an iron issue (it does not as I have city water!) but I really like the color. Lol after the first year, it settles down. I dont feel as though these pics give it justice because the sun is hiding behind dark clouds and it's looking real lagoon like at the moment.

I said it a while ago, its wet. She'll like it. The only question was if it would be pretty blue, pretty green or pretty aqua. There was no wrong choice.

She'll love her watering hole regardless... as long as she has one.

I need to SLAM it. As soon as I poured chlorine I could smell the CCs. I put in 4lbs stabilizer n 2 jugs of 10% last evening. I just checked on it n can still smell faint hints. The sun may burn that off today. I have to add baking soda too. I'm at 60 n pH was 7.2. Not terribly bad but I'm in uniform right now n getting ready to leave.

Oooooof. Talk about O-Dark Thirty....... :)

Yeah, bleach and uniforms are a no go. Even just in regular clothes, I’ve sworn to myself I’ll be real careful 100 times. And I was. But the wind gust that popped up out of the blue didn’t care.
