Great looking pool! You may have already posted but I can't find what plaster finish you chose. The water is so blue!

I see someone is really enjoying the pool. The four legged kind. The pool looks awesome.
Thank you! You'll be swimming in no time!
...I was wondering, with our heat and long swim-seasons, have you considered a chiller or maybe a DIY spray return? I'm guessing with the dryness of Odessa you could easily cool the water through evaporation much easier than Houston (humidity).
Thanks for the compliments. The wife and I certainly had reservations about the DIY landscaping. We kept thinking we were missing something when we completed it with 1/3 $ cost. Water temp's in the low 80's is perfect; we cant say the same. I'm guessing it's our very high humidity. We just don't get much evaporative cooling from the water-falls. I still like the idea of the chiller, but now on the back burner (A&M will be cutting into my mad-money).With this years weather (strangely not extremely hot). I had no problems. the water was in low 80's until I heated it to 88. I have so many water features and the white plaster I don't have a problem with too much heat.
Your pool and plants are looking great. I held off on SOD this year, as I may end up concreting the rest of my available back yard for a kitchen/fireplace/etc.
