We just bought and are 75% finished installing a 18’8” I text pool. There is 14” of water in it. I notice a small area while installing side panel slats that there was a little bit of water between the liner and the tarp. All other areas that could still be checked were fine. The area the water was in is the inside corner of an existing next next to the pool so it was shaded. Wondering if it could be condensation that didn’t evaporate. Filling from the hose. It was 80+ today rest of the pool was in sun. We stopped filling, measured water depth/level and will recheck in the morning and praying the brand new out of the box pool and liner is not damaged. Anyone experience this?

Welcome to TFP! Hopefully not a leak. Summer (and wind) tend to result in more water loss, but if it's at the floor level that will be something to watch. The link below may help you a bit.

I did read through the link as well but if there is actually a leak it’s in the liner where the floor meets the side wall. There are just a few places about 1/4 to 1/2 in where there are little ripples in the seam. Not sure if it’s compromised or just not glued properly all the way to the edge and it’s still sealed well in the overlapping areas underneath. Water level was exactly the same at 6;15 am today as it was at 8:15 pm yesterday. I use a bath towel to dry the water under the liner and will check again in a bit for new water. I tried the dye trick but as suspected there’s too much water in the pool I would have to get in and use syringe to be more exact. If we do continue to see water under the liner indicating a leak how awful and how much disassembly will be required to hang new liner? I think my husband is going to loose it! just checked where I dried with towel and it’s wet again grrrrr.
