Tiny filter. Unless this is in a screen enclosure, I suggest a 400 SF minimum cartridge filter.

Two filter housings? That is silly. Get the Pentair CCP420. It is four cartridges. One filter housing.

We just switched to the aquacal heat/cool pump and it's super quiet with an awesome warranty.

I think the easytouch is old the intellicenter is the new one.

Just a couple thoughts

The PB is insisting on two CCRP200. But I am insisting on the CCP420, below is what he said:

In order to clean the filter, You have to remove a large clamp, lift the top off , remove a large 4 filter manifold, take the manifold apart, clean the filters, put the manifold back together. All this takes about 45 minutes, for a pool service company to do. Most service companies will charge about $150.00 to do this. (and most will not want to do it.) When you need to replace the filers, they cost about $500. . On the other hand, the CCRP 200 filters take about 10 minutes to clean and it’s much easier. They cost 250.00 to replace two filters. (See attached picture)

I told him I want the bigger filter, I watched YouTube videos and it looks easy to change and the filter are not too expensive.

Good plan. It is not that difficult. And the filters from Amazon are not that expensive.

Your pool is not oversized in any way that it warrants TWO filters. No poster in my memory has had a builder push two filters on them for your sized pool and conditions.

I believe the Pentair VS pump and Intellicenter automation are ideal for you. The Easy Touch 4 is more limited in what it can do and I'm thinking lights, spa, etc. I may be wrong here though and the Easytouch will be enough?? @mknauss what do you think?

Don't let this builder push you around- its your money and you are in charge of how its spent.

As long as all the lights will be controlled as a group, the ET4 is fine. But an ET8 or definitely the new Intellicenter gives much more flexibility.

I don't have it yet but will be getting it when it comes in. I think with the easy touch there is a separate module you need for cell phone control (could be wrong on this)

My PB finally started yesterday after several delays. Was supposed to start after Thanksgiving but that didn’t happen. Early today while doing excavation the Bobcat broke down ☹FBEA8426-057F-4E5C-B1D4-F90E0A7AAA89.jpegA9EA56C4-26D0-4A1A-97E6-6A0D27A011A4.jpeg41D4AA71-CF41-4825-B6A9-2C154F7D1B89.jpeg2D2871CA-F6A3-45F6-8569-EB7FBD728FE9.jpeg6EE60E42-95C1-4CB5-9747-52C0D93FFA29.jpegE5DC4048-4D04-486E-9EF5-3285222209A5.jpegFBEA8426-057F-4E5C-B1D4-F90E0A7AAA89.jpegA9EA56C4-26D0-4A1A-97E6-6A0D27A011A4.jpeg41D4AA71-CF41-4825-B6A9-2C154F7D1B89.jpeg2D2871CA-F6A3-45F6-8569-EB7FBD728FE9.jpeg6EE60E42-95C1-4CB5-9747-52C0D93FFA29.jpegE5DC4048-4D04-486E-9EF5-3285222209A5.jpegFBEA8426-057F-4E5C-B1D4-F90E0A7AAA89.jpegA9EA56C4-26D0-4A1A-97E6-6A0D27A011A4.jpeg41D4AA71-CF41-4825-B6A9-2C154F7D1B89.jpeg2D2871CA-F6A3-45F6-8569-EB7FBD728FE9.jpeg6EE60E42-95C1-4CB5-9747-52C0D93FFA29.jpegE5DC4048-4D04-486E-9EF5-3285222209A5.jpegFBEA8426-057F-4E5C-B1D4-F90E0A7AAA89.jpegA9EA56C4-26D0-4A1A-97E6-6A0D27A011A4.jpeg41D4AA71-CF41-4825-B6A9-2C154F7D1B89.jpeg2D2871CA-F6A3-45F6-8569-EB7FBD728FE9.jpeg6EE60E42-95C1-4CB5-9747-52C0D93FFA29.jpegE5DC4048-4D04-486E-9EF5-3285222209A5.jpeg

GloBrites use a proprietary niche, which makes many people dislike them. It locks you into those lights or a pretty intense retrofit for something else. IntelliBrite or MicroBrite give you more flexibility down the road. Each has pros and cons I am personally going the MicroBrite route for flexibility.
